OKC is looking for a shooter + great defender. And OKC didn't renew heustis' contract. Pretty sure some other team would sign him although I know he would ball with a team with a lot of playing time for him (ORL).

Orlando trades their face of the franchise for a new face of the franchise. Gordon can't carry this team let's face it. Also more playing time for rookie Isaac.

Portland does this and invest with Gordon at the 4. Imagine pick and roll or pick and pop from Lillard to Gordon. They could also follow up this trade to get Deandre Jordan... Nurkic, Leonard, Davis, 2020 OKC pick from previous trade for DJ, Williams. Line-up would be Lillard, Ross, Harkless, Gordon, Jordan. With Williams, Turner, Aminu at the bench? Lob city 2.0? Easily top 5 team on west.

Why would blazers give up McCollum for basically gordan and a first round pick 2 years from now there blazers would be better off in this deal bc they have Nurkic.
