Guess you're assuming that the Celtics will actually get the Lakers pick (no guarantee) and then draft Ayton. And then package Ayton with two more firsts for two guys who can't even get decent minutes for a mediocre team? Outside Porzingis, can't see anyone on the Knicks roster that would interest Boston.

I agree with Supercollider, pretty much folly. However, I do think the Celtics have a real shot at getting the Lakers pick, seeing how bad the Lakers really are.

I agree that the Celtics look like they will get the Lakers pick, and I also agree that there's no way on Kyrie's flat earth that they move it for two backups from the Knicks. That's just insane! They are going to use the pick, likely for Ayton, Bamba or Bagley, and add him to Brown and Tatum to create a Baby Three to go along with their Big Three of Kyrie, Horford and Hayward. That's just craziness to me, and will set up a potential dynasty.
