The Bucks say No! Giving up Dellavedova, and his 9 mil. a year for Favors and his 12.5 mil. a year. for a rental? The Bucks want like everyone else. To dump contracts, not add. Favors is a PF that plays backup center. Milwaukee already has Henson, and Maker, who also are PF's playing Center. Look for Milwaukee either to trade for a legit Center, Or, after the trade deadline, Re-sign A. Bogut.

@Dark Side

Yes he is a backup but with Bledsoe, Brogdan, Giannis and Sean K. The bucks have plenty of PG to work with. Delly is not the worse in the pack but if they want Parker back next year they will need to that money to come from somewhere.

succeed and proceed? The Bucks have been winning "Without" Parker. Plus as you state, and we all know, Parker is looking for a "Max" contract. Why pay a guy the max, when he can't stay healthy for an entire year? Its looking more like Parker, Henson, and a 1st. or 2nd rd pick for the Clippers Jordan The Bucks will be signing A. Bogut (An actual Center) after the trade deadline. Plus they currently signed Plumlee. Dellavedova is a nice backup. But, Look at his last few games. 0-5 points max. A lot of assist though. A hardnose player. As for Favors, he's getting older and slower, Plus at 12.5 mil. a year not worth it.

Darkside, this trade is worth it for the Bucks just to get Delly off the books. He's a useful role player, but he's slightly overpayed, easily replaceable and like you've mentioned several times, the Bucks have a ton of guards. Favors is better than Maker, Henson and Bogut. The fact that he's an expiring is helpful for the Bucks. Even if they still want to go after Jordan, Favors expiring contract is more valuable than Henson.

For the Cavs, I'd rather them just take Favors than Delly or find a way to get MKG, if they make a trade with the Hornets. Delly is a nice hustle player and maybe his fire could give the Cavs some more attitude, but Gilchrest brings a similiar style and a lot more athleticism, which the Cavs desperately need. Plus he can play the 4 in small ball lineups and guard perimeter players and rebound.

Hello rkeene_16, Agreed about Dellevedova, But why would Milwaukee want to dump 9 mil a year, to bring back 12.5 mil a year for a 2nd backup, 3rd backup, PF to play Center? They have that in D. J. Wilson for the next year. I also agree about the Cavs taking Favors, TT just isn't getting it done, But, The Cavs are also looking for another guard right (G. Hill? ) Dellavedova would help with that a little more than Favors would be the "Rim Protector" the Cavs. are looking for. I see Dellavedova, Henson, Maker, Vaughn, and possibly Parker as "trade bait" What I don't understand with Milwaukee is, Why is their tallest player, (7'1" PF Maker) taking 3's all the time? The best thing the Bucks could do is start with firing J. Kidd! Move Asst, HC Prunty in as a temp. Then go out and get the Spurs asst. Coach Becky Hammon! She has been working with "Pops" for a while, And has been up for GM jobs. I think she would be a better coaching addition to the Bucks, than their current Staff.
