I would think that if they don't make it through the first they will go out and get better not worse. So trading Middleton and getting back a Howard and a guy that was only projected as a scorer and he can't even do that yet won't be close to enough.

I like this for Philly and Charlotte, but i'm not sure about the bucks. Monk still has potential to become good, butfor now he's a bust.

The Bucks say No! D. Howard is an overpaid Center, with an attitude, That No one wants to deal with anymore. Plus, Middleton isn't going anywhere! Why give up a shooter/ score for a non shooter/ scorer in Monk?

Just an added fyi. The Minnesota T-Wolves bought out 6'6" SG/ SF Shabazz Muhammad yesterday, (Thursday) And Muhammad has agreed to sign with the Milwaukee Bucks. Milwaukee has also released SG Sean Kilpatrick to open a roster spot for Muhammad, who is expected to sign as soon as he clears waivers. No doubt Muhammad could use PT, But looks as a backup to Middleton, at the SF position. At 25 yrs. old, and the 13th pick in the 1st. rd. by Minnesota in the 2013 draft. It could end up a decent pickup for Milwaukee.

Correction, Muhammed was the 14th pick in the 2013 draft. Picked by Utah, and traded to Minnesota on draft night, He had just resigned with Minnesota, but has not been getting PT, so asked to be bought out. Thibs stated they were "not" buying him out a week ago, So much for that. He will sign with the Bucks tomorrow.

Darkside, it's possible a change of scenery could do Muhammad good, but it seems unlikely he can help the Bucks. He was just cut by a team trying to make the playoffs that doesn't have a great bench and who will be missing their starting sf for most of the regular season.

rkeene_16, Muhammed is replacing S. Kilpatrick, who was 2 inches shorter, and 3 years older. And also didn't see a lot of PT. Thibs stated he "wasn't" going to cut Muhammed, or buy him out, because of the injury to J. Butler, the Wolves really need him, and he was suppose to see more PT to fill in. well, we see how well that went. Thibs just stated he wanted to get his "core" players more PT, so, Muhammed was out. my thought, Muhammed can't do any worse that Kilpatrick was doing, and will give Middleton more rest, Muhammed is more of a SF than SG. again, it can't be worse, and Muhammed should get more PT is all.
