Hate that for Portland.

Before Draft: Wiggins, Teague, Bjelica, Aldrich OKC 1st for Lillard, M. Leonard works. After Draft? Blazers need to get a 1st out of Lillard somehow. Nets really don't need another point guard, and are cleaning up in this trade as is.

Portland gets considerably worse, and doesn’t help their cap situation. I don’t see any way that makes sense for them.

I don’t understand why Brooklyn would be involved at all. Why not just take Teague and the pick over Carrol?

Carroll and Gibson are on a shorter contract, but they can do the trade without the Nets

Port: Wiggins+ Teague+gibson+ 1rnd pick minny 2019 + 2rnd pick 2018

Minny: D Lillard+Turner.

Why would Portland trade Damian Lillard? He's untouchable.

POR has a choice to go into Luxury or lose some players this off season. The admitted win or trade to a competitor was confirmed by Lillard too. So, everyone is hanging in the balance to see what the front office decides this off season. Staying competitive, and honoring Lillard's wishes is a tricky thing. The front office in POR blew it. Like MEM's did with Parsons. Only counting Harkless POR's blew it to the tune of 40 mil. Per season. 1/ 3 the teams payroll. For 2 more seasons. Could just waive the M. Leonard, and Turner. It would help immensely. Without Napier, and Nurkic, POR's rotation is just not the same, and not dealing Nurkic for something was another Front office follie if they don't re-sign, or S&T. Need cap for the S&T though, and/ or willingness to go into Luxury. From what I see.
