POR is at the Luxury line. I don't think the league would approve a trade with them taking on 10 mil extra in salary. The trade would cause many problems for POR rather than solving them by trading away 3 first round picks without relieving some roster, and salary issues.

Not happening. Portland is in the luxury tax. This trade is close to impossible to happening unless Portland finds a 3rd team to take on one of their unwanted contracts.

This trade also assumes Nurkic walks. I wouldn’t give up Nurkic, Collins, swanigan, and picks for gasol (who seems like he’s fading) .

I’d rather just move picks and swanigan to dump Turner (if they need, it would more likely be Leonard they’d try to dump) .
