LAL/ORL Trade this off-season

LA needs to clear cap to make a run at 2 FA all stars, maybe LBJ and PG13

LA trades: Zubac, Deng, 2018 1st (CLE), & earliest future unprotected 1st (2020/2021)

ORL trades: Mario Hezonja

LA saves cap space, gets out of awful Deng contract, and let's Hezonja walk in FA

ORL stretches Deng, gets maybe a promising young player in Zubac, resigns Gordon, and gets a couple 1sts to sweeten the pot. ORL drafts Young with their own pick.

LA can then resign Randle and sign 2 FAs

LA
Ball
George
James
Randle
Bryant

ORL
Young
Fournier
Isaac
Gordon
Vucevic

Just a thought, what do you guys think?

Lakers can stretch Deng. They can keep randle plus sign George and James at 29 each.

Can’t trade MARIO he’s a free agent.

The Magic only have around 18 million in cap space and that's without Mario's contract since he's a free agent. Also, that's without Gordon or anyone else's cap hold. I can't see them relinquishing the rights to Gordon. They being in close to 20 million. Even if they could fit that money in, I think it would be easier for the Lakers to work out a sign and trade with the Cavs or Thunder.

Moat contracts expire early July, so technically Hezonja can be traded just before, during, and after the draft. I'm not reprised of Hezonja's exact expiration date. I could be wrong.
