The Knicks get Wiggins

The Timberwolves get Hardaway, Lee, the Knicks 18 1st and a Knicks 2nd

For the Twolves, Hardaway can come in and give them 80% of what Wiggins did on offense, won't mind being the third option, and is a better defender than Wiggins (though one of those flaying inflatable men at a car wash would be better than Wiggins on that end). They can use the pick to either get their pg of the future or to find a pf that fits well next to KAT. Lee would provide some much needed depth as long as Thibs is willing to use him.

For the Knicks, they get an offensive star that will lesson the attention on and workload of KP.

I really like this trade

Hardaway isn't that much off a downgrade and they get a great asset back. Maybe the Wolves can draft Young or Sexton.

And NY is a great destination for Wiggins. Zinger can spread the floor for Wiggins, who can be the main ball handler for the Knicks. And Wiggins was a great defender in college, so maybe he will start playing defense again, when he's the first scoring option.

Wiggins never played good defense. His nba career is a far larger sample size. He costs a heck of a lot more. He is clearly a diva. He has no range.

Straight up I’d probably prefer Hardaway at this point over Wiggins because Wiggins is not worth what, 25% of the teams cap? On top you want the Knicks to give up a solid starting 2. A top ten pick in a loaded draft. And a second rounder?

Knicks management would all be fired and blacklisted for this nonsense.

They wouldn't be fired, this has a Dolan move written all over it!

I swear, the day he eventually sells the team, during his final press conference he's going to rip open his shirt and have a Celtics one underneath. In a WWE style heal turn, he'll announce that he bought the Knicks with the express plan of ruining them for as long as he was around.

Hardaway is at least proving he is worth the money. I agree with hamburger that this is not a good deal for the Knicks although they could pull the trigger on this based on how they want a young guy like Wiggins to team up with Zinger.

This another attempt from miserable cav fan who knows they won't win and won't keep LeBron next yr. Knicks won't bail them out again.

I'm not sure what me being a Cavs fan has to do with this trade Shizzee? How is this trade helping or hurting the Cavs? Especially if Lebron leaves?

Yeah. That Cavs fan comment is confusing. And horrible grammar.

Stick to posting the same unrealistic trades everyday. Trash talk ain’t your forte.

What do NY fans think they can get for Lee, Hardaway and a late lottery pick? It's a loaded draft and the top 7 is strong, but i don't think Bridges is going to be an all star. Wiggins van be a great scorer for NY and he could become an all star.

Gasupo, I don't look at this as a great package that the Knicks are giving up, I look at it as taking on a player who's style is not conducive to winning, and paying him $147 million over the next five seasons. That is far too much to sink into a one dimensional guy, no matter how good he is at that one thing. He doesn't shoot the 3 at a league average clip, averages 4 boards a game despite his athleticism, and if you look at THJ's numbers, they are very similar this year, and there is nearly $95 million less left on his contract than what is owed Wiggins.

I don't think you give up a top 10 pick and two solid players for a guy who will eat up a lot of Cap Space, and who you will have about as much success with as you did Melo.

Echoing what triangle said. I wrote specifically he coats a heck of a lot more. Why commit a quarter or more of the cap to an inefficient scorer who brings little else to the game.
