Chicago Bulls Offseason:

Draft Either Bamba or MPJ with our 6th pick (would rather take a chance on high ceiling player and have a bust than pick an nba ready talent and be mediocre for years *cough* McDermott/Tyrus Thomas *cough*)

Draft Khyri Thomas or Mitchell Robinson with our 22nd pick

Resign Lavine

Add a vet for presence and/or need:

Richard Jefferson or Joe Johnson

Assuming our pick(#6) turns out well, go for a big name in the 2019 free agency (Melo, PG13, Dwight Howard, Deandre Jordan, Kemba) while also filling out the bench. Then, trade our pick and Bobby Portis for a solid starter.

Assuming our pick does not turn out well, trade up in the 2019 nba draft for RJ Barrett (Only untouchable is Lauri tbh).

For the 2019/20 season rinse repeat.

Here's to hoping MPJ/Bamba turns into Durant/Gobert respectively

I think you need to trim that free agent list significantly. pretty much down to two. PG13 isn't going to go to Chicago, even though the pitch must be made, so I'd take him off as unrealistic. Melo and Howard shouldn't be guys you want on that team. They'd be more negative than positive additions. Kemba and Jordan, however might be convinced to come in. I think Dunn can be a good player, but I don't think he'll ever be a star, so Kemba is a great fit. If they pick Bamba, I don't know how much money I'd throw at Jordan, but he could be a really good mentor. If they draft Porter the positional fit is a non issue.

Overall, it's a really solid plan.
