Blazers/Cavs Trade

Blazers Receive: 8th overall pick, Kyle Korver, Jordan Clarkson

The Blazer get an aging but undoubtedly elite and potential hall of famer on the roster. Although he is far from what he once was, Kyle Korver can still shoot the ball efficiently and get buckets off the bench. They also receive Jordan Clarkson who is a good shooter that can fit at the 1 or the 2. The big return they get is the 7th overall pick. I believe that in a stacked draft class the Blazers could pick up somebody help them immediately. They didn't have an answer for the Pelicans strength and defense in their early and unexpected first round exit. If they could possibly snag Jaren Jackson Jr. or Mikal Bridges at 8, not only will they get skill, but they will get lengthier and more versatile. CJ is an undersized shooting guard who would be better benefited from being surrounded by bigger guys. He wasn't really an ideal fit in Portland although he did end up thriving with Damian Lillard throughout the regular season. The Blazers could get a lot better in this trade and possibly even see themselves back in the 2019 playoffs if they draft wisely.

2018 Starting 5
1-Damian Lillard
2-Jordan Clarkson
3-Evan Turner
4-Jaren Jackson Jr.?
5-Jusuf Nurkic

Cavs Receive: CJ McCollum, Al Farouq Aminu

The Cavs need another scorer next to Lebron and some defense. In this trade, the Cavs receive Al Farouq-Aminu who is a defensive and athletic freak. He would be a good spark off the bench or in the starting lineup to provide rim protection, make plays and bring some energy and toughness to the floor. The Cavs also need some more scoring and more star power alongside Lebron. Let's be honest, Lebron and the Sixers isn't really a good fit with Ben Simmons manning the show. Going to the Lakers would be pointless because although they have the cap and assets to go out and acquire big name player, they are in a brutal Western Conference with a young and inexperience coach and roster. Finally there are the Rockets. Although the Rockets are arguably the best team in the West right now, I really don't see Lebron going out there and being happy. D'Antoni would have a lot of authority and he'd be sharing the ball with James Harden+Chris Paul. His best bet is to stay in Clevland, restock the team and continue to dominate the East. In the 2017-2018 playoffs, through the first 4 games Lebron has averaged about 33 points per game while not a single other Cavs player has scored above 20. He needs scoring. CJ McCollum will give him that.

2018 Starting 5
1-George Hill
2-CJ McCollum
3-Lebron James
4-Al-Farouq Aminu
5-Kevin Love

Wait you seriously called Korver not only undoubtedly elite. But a potential hall of gamer? 4/ 20 is over. Lay off the weed.

Cavs might need to give up some more, but I like the frame work behind it.

Hamburger I don't know if you watch the NBA but he is one of the best 3 point shooters of all time. He's old now but used to be a beast for the Hawks. Yeah probably not a hall of famer I got carried away there. But he would be a good addition to the Hawks since they need a wing badly.

I watch the nba. And realize he is awful at literally every other aspect of the game. You called a guy with no defense. No rebounding. No passing. Nothing but a three point shot undoubtedly elite and potential hall of famer. Perhaps you should watch the game pudding before throwing that junk out there.
