Melo has the no trade clause, granted he would start but pistons are a mess right now.

Thunder would drive Melo to Michigan if the Pistons would just take Anthony off their hands. Wouldn't even have to give up a future second-rounder.

It would help out both teams. OKC gets griffin who would be a good compliment to Westbrook. He is also from Oklahoma so that would bring fans. The Pistons would take on Melo for a year before his contect ends and then they could let him walk leaving them with 28m in cap.

detroit needs more compensation, they basically bet their franchise on blake, not going to swap him for someone they should buyout.
