Hawks receive Courtney lee (contract 12.25 mill) and Emmanuel Mudiay (contract 4.15 mill) and pick 37 in 2018 draft (this can be swapped with a future second)

Knicks receive Dennis Schroder

Pros Knicks receive a young point guard who can score around 20 points a game something new york needs as well as around 1.05 mill in cap and hey any cap space is good cap space.

Pros Hawks receive a young player in Mudiay who could have his potential untapped by the new coach piece worst case scenario let him walk in free agency if he doesn't fit as he is an expiring contract, lee adds a nice veteran presence as well as cap relief in the future as his contract expires in the 2019-2020 season as well as receiving a second round pick

some of you are thinking that this is probably an over pay for New York for someone who's in legal trouble and isn't a great on defense however he is only 24 and can still grow and with a legit super star in porzingas something he's never gotten the privilege to play with which I believe could help his development greatly. But the purpose of this cite is debate so let me hear how you think and what tweaks you would make to make this work or other teams this could work with.

I think mudiay could be really good playing as much as shroeder. It's a fair deal, NY would think about it. Schroeder is likely to get a month at least for the hookah shop assault. Without the pick its still probably fair given the looming jail time that is almost guaranteed.

I will fly Schroder myself if knicks pull that without Frank or pick.

Hawks nights want Frank Mudiay Kanter for Schroder Plumlee which I would still have to fly Schroder myself.

Knicks have no interest in a volume shooter. He’s like a less efficient Melo. If that’s possible.

How’d he do this year leading the hawks?

Schroeder is worth more than a PG who has proven nothing, a veteran SG who will just eat up prospect minutes, and a 2nd round pick.

Also hamburger, he didn't do bad for a 2nd year starter who had a horrible offensive supporting cast. 20 and 6 are pretty good numbers for a point guard.

I like shizee's idea of Schroeder and plumlee for ntilkina and kanter. I think that is fair for both teams.
