Suns draft Doncic #1

Trade Chandler, Dudley, Chriss, #16 for
DJ, Beverley, Dekker, 2020 2RDP.

assuming dj opts in, suns don't need to give up that pick. chriss is about equal to dekker, u are then swapping expiring salaries (chandler+dudley) — (dj+beverly), and i don't think the differences between those guys is worth the 16th, middle of the draft is nice this year.
this move doesn't get the suns to the playoffs so i don't see the point.
oh, and they are drafting ayton.
also, dj has never averaged over 13 ppg in his career, ayton will top that as a rookie. (yeah, yeah, i know dj is probably more helpful on defense)

That'd be a good suns team. Beverly defense with booker, doncic, Jackson, Jordan. It's a good offer, la can continue to tank and not lose next years pick.

This is an absolutely terrible trade for the clippers. They give up their starting pg. a decent backup forward, and an all star caliber center who is top 2 every year in the nba all for backups and scrubs who used to be good?

Chandler has 0 value and his contract lowers his value even more. Dudley is a wasted contract. Chriss is not better than montrezl harrell and is pointless on the clippers roster.

Gpack, Chandler and Dudley are both expirings. Jordan in this case is basically opting in to be traded and Beverly is a role player, who just shredded his knee. Chriss, the 16 and expiring contracts are a great return for what the Clippers are giving up.

rkenne_16 the clippers were a few games away from making the playoffs with a roster that used the most starting lineups in the entire nba and never had a fully healthy roster. you mean to tell me a healthy lineup of beverly, rivers, harris, gallinari, jordan, and a bench of teodosic, lou will, harrell, and 2 lottery picks wouldn't make the playoffs and compete? why tear up everything when they're in good position to compete?
