None of those guys are good enough to be rotation players in San Antonio, so the offer is basically Leonard for a late first and the right to move up 8 places in the draft.

@supercolloder none of them, really? covington and fultz would start, and the 10th pick would be a top 8 guy on the roster. i think this deal is pretty fair.

I can't imagine the Sixers even pursuing a trade unless they know for a fact that Kawhi will be around long term. That being said, if he does commit to them, this is a good deal. The Spurs can't demand much because of how public this whole situation has been so I doubt anybody would offer more - especially without some form of long term commitment from Kawhi.

Covington could start on the Spurs and Fultz is a 19 year old who was the consensus #1 pick last year. There's plenty of upside to sell the Spurs on.

Fultz did not even make rotation. He is a border line bust.

You can’t call someone a bust after just 1 season. Especially when they were injured for part of it.

Fultz's per 36's after coming back were like 17 and 9. It was a limited sample size, but he didn't look like a bust, when he was playing with both arms.
