Do sign and trades allow 1yr deals? If so

Thunder- Kcp (1yr big money deal)

Lakers do a deal to create some more space, obviously they will do it after signing a star (Cousins?, James? while Okc take a player who can help for year and there comes a huge expiring deals of Kcp and Anthony.

Yes its doable, players, trading team, and team traded to, have to be in agreement, lured, persuaded. Boston offered to give something to Utah for Hayward. It didn't go anywhere. It wasn't mandatory Hayward and Utah didn't demand it.

It is more likely okc would take deng's contract with a young player like hart or kuzma in a sign and trade.
