Walker is better than Irving or more affordable?

Obviously not better but they just get more assets. A Walker/ Rozier pg rotation with the added depth of Monk, Lamb and Patton are worth it to me if I'm Boston.

Minnesota would no doubt jump on that deal, getting Irving for Wiggins. But the players Boston gets are all bad fits (except for maybe Lamb, who would be a bottom-of-the-rotation filler), and Charlotte takes a significant step back.

I actually think all the guys the Celtics bring in would wind up fitting well in Stevens' system, but I'm not ready to give up on the core that DA put together this offseason.

The only issue that I see for the trade in regard to fairness is that Charlotte really isn't getting much back. Wiggins is still a potential guy, but so is Monk, so the value they bring back for most of their good players just isn't there for me.

To me, I don't think there's any way that Ainge trades Kyrie. I think the Celtics will give him his max contact, unless it's for a Superstar player. IE, Anthony Davis. Possibly K Leonard.

I don't get any of the trade Irving stuff. Rozier has had a great postseason, but he's not any where near Irving's level. They're going to have give Rozier a pretty substantial raise to keep him anyway. If they're trading anyone to save money, it should be Heyward. Tatum and Brown look to on the verge of already being better than him.
