Suns:
- Noel
- 5th pick (draft Pointguard: Young)
- Ferrel

Mavs
- Chandler
- 1st pick (draft C: Ayton)
- Knight

Suns need a real Pointguard first of all! For Noel you have only 7m cap hit and they could sign him later as a defender paired with Bender for a offense C.

Moving 26m cap away would give the the possibility to sign a Forward like George, Randle or Gordon!

Mavs get a young scoring center to pair with smith and would have cap to sign KCP to go large or small on demand

Noel/Bender
Gordon
Jackson
Booker
Young

Ayton/Chandler
Barnes/Dirk
KCP/McDermott
Wes/Curry
Smith/Knight

Whatever substances it took to make you think PHX would even consider something like this, you either didn't take enough or had way too much.

Noel ist now a unrestricted free agent. Suns don`t realy need dump salary with trade Knight and Chandler. Trade pick 1 for 5 for nothing. No thanks. Suns draft Ayton and need Chandler to lern him play defence.

I think lillard, Westbrook, marbury, stoudemire when I see Trae young and less cp3,Irving, magic, maravich. There aren't many good real point guards. Young will need touches young isn't going to get those with booker.

If the Mavs gave another 1st round pick (probably protected top 10) I think the Suns would consider.

But I also think the Suns could package some of their other assets (B. Knight, M. Chriss, D. Bender, and T. Ulis) to get another top 10 pick. Then they could draft Young, Ayton, and still sign Aaron Gordon.

Suns have Booker, Jackson and Bender, Warren. To add a offensive Center would be nice. But first of all play making is there need! Do you think CP3 will sign in Phonix? Or do you wanna trade your pic for Walker to the hornets? Noel gives them agile defense and rim protection, shooting they have. Young give them play making to become a good them.

You can wait for next year to get Maybe a good Point guard, by hoping (and playing) for another top 3 pic. But as you have learned from Booker - the good guys do not want to wait for years.

So finally Young is simply the best option for Suns this year. And the GM is away of it or why do you think he told everybody he will "not trade 1st"? Because he wanna chat? Or if he wanna increase the value?

If you wanna keep Knight and Chandler - fine - add the 2019 1st instead. I wanted only to be fair to take 26m bad contracts.

Ddrainer if you think the suns need a point guard then hey would draft doncic then could easily an Noel phx hav flexibility o handle there contacts
Mavs have nothing too offer for the first unless you giving 4 and dsj.

DDrainr: The Mavs can't trade an unrestricted free agent. No team in the league can. Noel is free to sign with whomever he chooses, unless he chooses to do a sign and trade.

Doncic is good in play making but he is a SG/ SF with 6`8 and 220p doesn`t fit with Booker, Jackson at all. Young is a quick passing first PG that can also driver, shoot and defend.

That is part of the proposal. Ayton is nice. But Bamba would be also a good fit for the Mavs - having better defense at all but less offense, what Mavs could use for the time when Dirk retires.

So the trade can happen, if the Suns "want" playmaking, a young rim protector and cap to sign Gordon, Randle or LeBron? : )

The #1 pick carries all the publicity from every nba story this summer about the draft, about rookies, etc. PHX needs that publicity so they can bring back corporate sponsorships. The casino is named after a resort right now!

Moving Brandon Knight's $30 mil of salary is beneficial, and maybe DAL could get the #14 pick if they took it on. However, Noel and Yogi don't have much trade value, so not enough to trade down the #1.

What games did you watch where Young was a "pass first PG"? Former coaches on ESPN say the ball sticks in his hand which means he likes to shoot it, a lot. Suns have a guard that shoots it and makes, a lot. Noel is a bust and few teams want him and they certainly won't pay him what he thinks he'll get. I agree that PHX will try to package some assets to move up in this draft but not to take Young. More like Porter, Bridges, or even Doncic after taking Ayton number #1.
