Giving up on Winslow for garbage makes no sense for Miami, even if he’s got to prove more than he has already.

No way I'd trade Lillard and Aminu for that package. Portland would want #10 and a future first included as least.

Also, Portland wouldn't have cap space to sign Capela.

1. Dame is an unbelievable talent, face of his franchise, Portland does not let him go for suggested return.
2. The trade just isn't there to make. It's too forced. Strengthens yet weakens sixers in different areas.
4. Most importantly, from strictly a Sixers perspective, our strength in bargaining is our cap space. We finally have a good team, and signing a FA to make it a great team should be plan A, B, C, and D. If all fails, thrn save the cap space for next year. This trade, and others like it, aren't the answer.

T. johnson is terrible, Aminu has value, and so does lillard why would blazers take back negative value? Capela is going nowhere outside of Houston. Miami gets salary relief but little else for winslow loss.

I think you guys are underestimating how desperate the Heat are going to be for cap relief. They're going to be 30 or 40 million over the soft cap next year and don't have any large expiring contracts on the books. Plus, Winslow is about to need a new deal. Do they have anything else other than Winslow that they can attached to a bad deal?
