One last version of that trade and then I'll stop lol

Cavs get Kawhi Leonard and Chandler Parsons

Grizzlies get Kevin Love

Spurs get George Hill, the 4th overall pick via Memphis, and the 8th overall pick via Cleveland

Same thing as my last proposal except the Spurs don't have to take on Parsons' contract which would be appealing to them. Hill can take over as a short term replacement for Tony Parker.

If LeBron was to sign off on this, I think that everyone else involved should go for it.

Cavs get their guy, and LeBron. if he wants it, they're happy.

Grizzlies get rid of Parsons and #4, which alone is something they've been rumored to want to do, but they also bring back Love. I'm still a fan, and I think he would work well there. There's definitely some injury issues throughout the roster now, but they have another reliable vet/ star to lean on. He also should produce better without getting all the blame for a LeBron team not winning.

I personally think the Grizzlies should be blowing it up at this point and going young from scratch, but I don't think they actually will, so this works well.

As far as the Spurs go, I like this a LOT. They're able to get two top 10 picks in a pretty solid draft, and are able to bring back a guy that Pop really likes. I think Hill is overpaid, as are many in the league, but he also got a bad rap this year. I just don't understand the narrative that was going around about how everyone but LeBron sucked on the Cavs this year. Hill is a solid player, and it would be really poetic if he gets moved for Leonard again, but this time he goes and gets the rings after the trade. You add two really good rookies to LA, Hill, Manu, Murray, Pau and Pop, and you have a team that can compete.

maybe lebron could inspire a jeff green-esque revival for parsons.
