Boston is not giving up Brown, Morris or any picks for Kawhi. Let the Lakers have him and focus on getting KAT with Brown or Kyrie as the main piece.

I’d take Kyrie over Kat. Kyrie is proven in the playoffs did you see kat this year in the post season?

lmau @ billj KAT is soft. Leonard better than any 2 Celtics combined. you don't understand basketball.

For as much as was made out of KAT's playoff series (his first ever at 22), he put up 15 and 13. That's not bad and bigs to a certain extent are at the mercy of the ball handlers and the coach. KAT has a chance to be a top 5 player, he's under control for most likely 5 more years, he's already a top 5 big in the league, and he's been extremely durable.

That said, I highly doubt that Minnesota even thinks about moving him and if they did, they'll need a ton to justify it. He's restricted. There isn't much risk to waiting until next year and trying to turn things around with him. Even if he's still upset next summer, he'd have to be willing to turn down his 1st big contract for the qualifying offer. Chances are he takes the contract and if he doesn't, then you can trade him.

Such extremes, and they're both wrong.

You wouldn't give up Morris for Leonard?!? That is probably the dumbest thing ever said on this site. Brown, Morris, and those two firsts for Leonard makes Boston easily the second best team in the NBA (at worst, they might be better than GS at that point) .

Leonard is worth more than two of Irving, Hayward, Tatum, and Horford? That's lunacy. I'd take any of those two over Leonard (maybe excluding Horford/ Hayward) .

And as rkenne said, KAT wasn't that bad in the playoffs. That was majorly overblown. It was also his first time, it's easy for nerves to set in and have a bad game or two. I don't think that should affect how we look at KAT as an overall player.

For a rental? Really Bmiller, Boston is not getting Kawhi and if Kyrie doesn't plan on staying long term then why not trade him. He said before Wolves would be a place he'd like.

Boston proved they can win without Irving.

Kat in Boston would be a great fit.
