Bulls trade pelicans

Pelicans get lopez,marrkanen,valentine #7 and #22

Bulls get A.Davis

This trade gives bulls chance to sign another max contract george or James
Then its up to lavine to sign for less to win with bulls.

Starting 5
Dunn
Lavine
James
Portis
Davis

Bulls could be elite just on the defensive side dunn, james and davis are all good on defense and can score.

For the pelicans they can resign cousins who can play next to marrkanen and now they have draft picks to get gaurds and wings

Davis is basically untouchable.

I actually don't hate this as much as I would have expected. There would obviously need to be more picks thrown in, but the basic structure is actually pretty solid. It would have to be done on draft night, because New Orleans would have to know that the player they want would be available at 7. There are only a couple of guys in this draft that would make sense for this trade, and that's probably Doncic and Porter. Either of them could slide into the Pelicans lineup and it would be a good fit.

Holiday
Doncic
Mirotic
Maarkanen
Cousins

This of course would have to be if they don't see Davis staying long-term. After their playoff push this year, I don't see that being a big concern, but like David West pointed out, there are always things going on that we rarely see.

Boston could put together a better package, of course, but I don't know that they would. This one works in both directions, and any accepted combination of players the Celtics move would be more than they would be willing to give I think.

Tell you what, Boston can keep their package, although it would be FAR better than this Chicago package,
