Portland gets whiteside, Olynyk, Winslow. Miami gets Harkless, Leomard, Swanigan, Aminu, Laymen. Heat save 7M this year and 15M in 2019. Heat need to shed salary. Blazers upgrade frontcourt.

Is that an upgrade? I’d take Nurkic (who has to be let go i this situation) over Whiteside. I’d take Aminu over anyone Miami is sending.

Heat and blazers are both cap strapped. Not ideal trading partners until cap is figured for both teams. Heat are a large market they can afford it more than blazers.

Nurk is a wild card for sure. As a blazer fan he can be really frustrating. not athletic, turns ball over a lot, dosent finish strong consistently. only 23 so upside for sure. whiteside might be good fit with lillaird, can finish strong. I really like Olynk, check out his stats. Winslow showed big improvement last year and is on last year of rookie deal. AFA is a nice role player, but not the answer long term at PF or SF in my opinion.
