Three Team Mega Trade
( ( (Spurs / Sixers / Minnesota) ) )

Spurs get : Saric, Butler, Bayless and 2019 1st Rnd Pk (Philly)

Minn get : Covington, Fultz and 2019 2nd Rnd Pk (Philly)

Sixers get : Leonard ( (S&T) ) and Gasol

Each team gets (team) specific needs in the trade to include Spurs and Minn move on from both disgruntled players with younger talent and 1 asset.

The issue with that is Popovich will ask for picks in ANY TRADE for Leonard. And I’m sure Minnesota won’t want to give up any for a one year rental (Leonard) So they rather get players they will have under contract and let Philly deal with Leonard “Staying or Going” to the Lakers next year.

Your right about the over pay, but do you see any other superstars out there in the next two years that can complete “The Process”.?
In 2019 FreeAgents include :

Klay Thompson-will return to GSW

Jimmy Butler-will go to SanAntonio (his words)

K. Porzingis-Knicks for life

H. Barnes- Dallas for life

And that’s it for Star Level talent.

If I was Philly GM, I would take a shot at K. Ombré jr.

TRUST ME I don't DISCRIMINATE. I Had the same issue with a Lakers Fan (Hamburger) but I guess he understood me in the end. Bcoz we agreed in multiple post afterwards.
