Unlikely trade to happen, but would be amazing:

Twolves receive: Morris, Brown, Yabusele, Purvis, Ojeleye, Theis, 2x '19 1st (Bos & Clip)
Boston: Butler

Twolves get some good pieces to help contend this year and in the future for a player that will leave at the end of the year.

Boston can start; Irving, Butler, Tatum, Hayward, Horford. With Rozier, Smart, Baynes off the bench.

Also after the season would still have assets to throw at the Pels for Davis (Horford & 3-5 firsts)

I like this trade for Boston talentwise.
But is Boston able to keep Butler after next year. He would want a max contract.

Seriously? All that for Butler? Not a chance in Hell. Brown is as good as Butler, if not better. Take Brown out and still would be too much, since Butler can walk at the end of the year. What are you people thinking. Wow.

JoeB - did you just say Brown is better than an all NBA player and all NBA defensive player?

Unlikely to happen. Then why post? If a trade doesn't even pass the posters' realistic test--why share?

Every trade is unrealistic to just about everyone that reads the post. Heck, some even agree and still click unbelievable just because.

But way too much for Butler! Plus don't need Butler, need a lights out shooter for the bench.

The all nba, mvp, and others are glam awards I don't pay attention to. Lillard made all nba. There are many SG's butler is one, who are better than lillard.

I agree that Brown is just as good a guy to have as Butler. If you look at their stats, other than point totals, Brown is already on Butler's level. I feel like people just look at the PPG difference, and leave it at that, but Brown had a better 3pt% and 2pt% this season than Butler has had in his entire career. If he can bring his free throw % up, he should have a better FG% as well since Butler has only bested Brown's FG% this season twice.

When you look at the Asst per game and rebounds per game, Butler's numbers are higher, but it gets a lot more interesting if you look at the advanced stats. The only category that Butler is far and away better is asst%.

Add to all this that Butler is about to turn 29 with 7 seasons under his belt at a contract of $18 Mil with however much you'd have to pay him in FA next season, and Brown is turning 22 the month after with only two seasons under his belt at a cost of 5-8 Mil over the next three seasons before hitting restricted FA. I'm taking Brown.
