i don't see the benefit here for the cavs, hill is only guaranteed for 1 mil next year, while they would have to pay lee his full amount next year.

I’d rather have George Hill, if I’m Cleveland. He’s essentially an expiring contract and they’re fine at sg and assuming they bring back Hood. Why take on longer term money for a player that isn’t any better than Hill and a non factor in Thomas? Not to mention that Clarkson isn’t really a pg and Sexton’s passing is a work in progress.

If your cleveland you go for better talent vs better contract no big name will sign there, unless Sexton turns out to be a star. Good luck Cleveland. Lebron did right by u guys coming back and winning championship as a under dog.

The Cavs can get free agents like Hardaway, if they’re willing to overpay them like the Knicks did. What’s the big difference between Hood and Hardaway? The Cavs don’t need another streaky wing that doesn’t play much defense and Hood will end up on a significantly better deal.
