Spurs get: Whiteside, Winslow
Heat get: Gasol, Mills, Toronto 2019 st.

Heat get to move on from Whiteside, Solid backup big, solid backup PG, and 1st pick.

Spurs get upgrade at Center, upgrade at backup SF.

I like this move for miami.

Talent wise, this is a steal for the Spurs, but i'm not sure they want Whiteside.

Triangle- pop is nine in a year or two. No great stars ever joined spurs under him, whitesides might be the only way to improve.

Whiteside’s attitude is the issue. Yes, he would theoretically make the Spurs better, but he wants touches. Do you think that happens with LMA on the court? He would be whiny in SA as much as he was last year in Miami, and that won’t fly.

Whiteside wants playing time, not necessarily touches. He would get both with Spurs.

Spurs have no cap room to go after free agents next year unless they get rid of Gasol and Mills. Butler will probably be too expensive. They only other free agent they could afford would be Tobias Harris. I'm not sure he would be better than Whiteside.

Even if Whiteside doesn't work out, Winslow could turn out to be a more athletic Bruce Bowen.

If the Spurs did this deal, I would start Winslow and Whiteside and make Rudy Gay 6th man of they year.
