Orl-Por

Orlando Receives: Lillard, Turner
Portland Receives: Gordon, Fournier, Augustin, Top 5 Protected 2019 1st rounder (conveys to unprotected 2020)

Orlando gets veteran star at position of need, while taking on Turner's contract

Dame isn't likely to leave Portland (acknowledging that- certainly not for Orlando), but ceiling for Dame and McCullum seems limited. Portland gets better balance with Gordon at the 4 and likely lottery pick next year while filling in with a veteran point guard who doesn't need too many touches.

If you’re not sure Mcollum and Lilliard can work as a tandem, why would you trade Lilliard. It’s not ridiculous to think you could pull off a trade of McCollum similar to what Toronto did with Derozan. At the very least you could shop both and prefer to trade Mcollum unless the offer for Lilliard was over whelming. Fournier is ok, but over paid, Lilliard on his own is going to get a team near the playoffs in the East so the pick won’t be great, and I like Gordon, but he’s not a franchise player. That’s not a package that I think you can build a great team around Mcollum with and less than that you don’t trade Lilliard unless he wants out.

Lilard is a great player, but I don't see him being good enough to turn Orlando into a contender. I think the Magic should sit tight and evaluate their assets before trading the farm for a 2nd tier star.

As a magic fan I hope this happens. Gordon isn't a star and hot way overpaid.
