ÎœIL - POR - ATL

Bucks get McCollum, Leonard
Blazers get Bazemore, Brogdon, Henson, two future Mil 2nds
Atlanta get Snell, Wilson, Maker

Milwaukee gets the best player in the deal.

Bledsoe/Dellavedova/Duval
McCollum/Brown/DDV
Middleton/Connaughton/Muhammad
Giannis/Ilyasova/Wood
Lopez/Leonard/Zeller

Portland shake it up moving from McCollum to 3 and D Bazemore and Brogdon to back him and Lillard. They also get a solid backup for Nurkic at the expense of Leonard. They save 5.5 mil, which will allow them wih small moves to avoid the tax.

Lillard/Brogdon/Baldwin
Bazemore/Curry/Stauskas
Turner/Harkless/Simons/Trent
Aminu/Swaningan/Layman
Nurkic/Henson/Collins

Atlanta swaps Bazemore basically for two young prospects that fit to their timeline

That’s fairly awful for Portland.

I like it, solid trade all around, feel like Bucks might be giving up a little too much, but definitely a good idea.

Just a fyi. Milwaukee is looking to trade Henson, Dellavedova And a 2nd rd pick to Atlanta for Bazemore. No need to get the Blazers involved.

Really Torque? you wouldn't involve the blazers? you are getting the best player on that deal.

I would rather have Bazemore than McCollum. Bazemore is a SG/ SF 3 and D wing player. McCollum is a PG/ SG. Milwaukee has a slew of them already. Plus, Bazemore would be a better fit next to Giannis A. than McCollum.

Guessing torque doesn't understand basketball from that post. McCollum is an elite shooter. Giannis needs players to spread the floor. How in the world would Bazemore be a better fit? Really, no idea.

Who cares about fit? McCollum is a considerably better player than Bazemore.

It’s like saying “I’d rather have Allan crabbe than Embiid because I really need shooting on my team”. Makes no sense.

I understand Basketball, I don't understand getting another PG/ SG when you have several of them. Plus Bazemore knows Budenholzers system McCollum doesn't, Bazemore is a better defender than McCullom, and is just as efficient from 3 as McCullom is. The Bucks have already picked up shooters, They need 3 and D players! That would be Bazemore, not McCullom.

McCullum is a career 41% 3pt shooter
Bazemore is 36%

Thats average versus elite.

Bazemore primarily plays SG, the same position.

McCullum is better as far as win shares, PER, fg, 3pt fg. he stretches the court as a legit elite threat, not an average shooter.

Bazemore's defense is average.

Makes no sense.

The not understanding basketball is that McCullum goes to the Bucks and is immediately their best shooter.

Lastly, have you looked at the depth chart for the Bucks? So you think they need a sf? Last time I checked, their are set at PF and SF with middleton and giannis. aka, sg would be a great spot for a stud, seeing as brogdon is good, not great.
