OKC's bench is too shallow already. This will hurt them more. Although it would be nice to get a 3rd star, it will be hard for them to say yes especially for Blake who is injury prone.

OKC does have a really shallow bench, but I think I would pull the trigger on this if I'm them. They need another player if they're going to come close to contending, and that starting 5 will be really competitive no matter who they put at the 2. I wouldn't play Schroder there, but there are a lot of veteran free agents out there who can help fill that spot.
As far as the bench, you start with Schroder, and that's about it. I'm still a believer in Noel, so I think you can add him in. After that, you'd have to bring in guys who want to win on a low contract. They have to do this anyway, with or without this trade. I don't see them being a big destination as is, but if you add another big time player it's much more appealing.

OKC shouldn't and can't do this right now it would have to wait. Grant just resigned so they can't trade him right now. And they should wait before giving all that for Griffin. Grant could be the answer at PF if he can shoot 37-38% from 3 again like in 2016-17 and do the other things he did he could be a good starter on a team friendly contract. They give up their starting and backup SG and PF plus a 1st just to get a starting PF. They make thselves to weak even after signing veterans to minimum contracts.

Blake Griffin is so not worth mortgaging the entire team farm for.
I like the guy, but he's not worth his Max salary if he can't stay healthy for the entire season for his entire contract.

Detroit is the team he needs to be on if he is going to get paid that much. They need a marquee name on their team to draw in some fan interest, but they aren't going to depend too much on him consistently because they aren't realistically going to compete for a championship any time in the near future.
