Bamba is not worth that much. Rozier is a SOLID player, and that pick is high lottery. Bamba is a project.

Rozier is a solid player, but the Celtics aren’t keeping him and Kyrie. Bamba is raw, but the Celtics are obviously good at developing guys and being able to put them in great situations until it’s all there. My guess would be that the Celtics would have him playing all the Baynes minutes by the playoffs and that he would be a guy that could give them something they don’t have. If he was clicking by the playoffs, which we’ve seen multiple times from Celtics rookies, he gives the Celtics perimeter guys the ability to be much more aggressive on defense and that’s really the only way you can hope to slow down Golden State.

With the questions around Irving resigning, I think Boston would be smart to hold onto Rozier.

That said, if they were to move him, Bamba would be a solid target, as they could use an athletic big with a high ceiling. And they have the current players (Horford and Baynes) that they wouldn't be relying on Bamba to produce big to be successful.

For Orlando, they get two nice assets for one. Considering how far away they are from competing, this makes sense to me.
