Just for argument sake, throw that in a trade machine and it will result in a +12 game gain for Portland and a -12 game loss for Minnesota. I don’t think that a late first rounder will justify that for Minnesota? Not to mention they’d be stuck with another year of Turner at premium money. Would he even start? Money might work, but I don’t see Minnesota accepting this deal.

In all fairness, the trade machine doesn't factor in potential or contracts. Collins has pretty decent value even if he doesn't have the +wins on the trade machine.

That said, I think both teams pass. I can't see Portland giving up Collins for an expiring contract. And I doubt Minny values Collins enough to make him the centerpiece of the deal.

This is bad for the blazers when butler tells everyone he's interested in signing for other teams in the off season. Turner is absolute garbage but he's a buy out guy next summer and the blazers are better off without surrendering assets to get rid of him for a rental.

Paul George said he would only sign in LA as well. Then he signed in Oklahoma. Sometimes taking a risk is worth it for an all star caliber player.

What does Paul George and indiana's situation over a year ago have in common with butler and wolves? I am drawing no parallel's Please advise? Contract? Current team?, declared coveted cities?, specifically a large market? Not following anything you posted, just see defense of a biased opinion.

No one is going to give up anything for butler besides maybe the clips. The Knicks arleady said they're not going to lose assests for someone they can sign. It's a risk for the blazer but it's better than trending water.
