***If Jimmy wants out and they want to remain somewhat competitive, why not go get two guys who separately give you what Butler gives you collectively? Roberson is lockdown on D at multiple positions. Warren has a similar offensive game and is improving on D. Getting the picks are the sweetener. I don't think they'll see a significantly better deal than this honestly. And if it's all about keeping Towns, they can flip Roberson for an expiring deal at the deadline and a pick. Warren and the picks allows you to get a player who can play Butler's role at a discounted price and keep your franchise guy.

***Mock me. Go ahead. I posted the George trade to okc multiple times in the year leading up to the deal and was mocked. Then the trade happened and George resigned. Lightning strikes twice for the Thunder. They bet on themselves and a shot at a title to keep Butler. This would be a killer lineup but with big risk. Scared money don't make none.

NY, LA, Miami. In that order and likelihood butler enters training camp or pre-season in one of those cities. Unless someone pulls a raptors-Leonard move.

I think Butler traded in December when players can be traded that were signed this year. it's going to be more options for the wolves. I want Butler in the Lakers even if he leaves but I like this trade. Those are two nice players signed to stay years in Miny and gel with towns and Wiggins.
