Wolves - Clippers

Wolves get: Tobias Harris, Patrick Beverly, Jerome Robinson, future 1st.

Clippers get: Jimmy Butler, Tyus Jones.

That's the kind of trade that would get the Wolves' attention. Beverly is still a lockdown defender, Harris is a solid all around guy, and Robinson looks to me to be a great sixth man at the worst down the road. It doesn't bowl you over, but it's a move they would have to consider.

What if Beverly and Harris leave this not no good Trade. Wolves need rookie contracts or 3 years plus signed players.

Harris is looking for a long term deal around 25mm per, maybe a little less. He is going to sign with someone, why not Minnesota. I believe they would have bird rights and can offer a 5 year deal vs. 4 yrs. and no bird rights. I have heard that Harris is thinking about signing with the Kings so they would be biggest competition. Minnesota offers the better situation.

Beverly is good, but if he walks no big deal. Robinson has potential and is on a rookie deal. Plus they get a 1st pick.

May be the best deal they get for Butler.
