I feel like Thibs would get fired before this trade goes down.

Even if Thibs were to be persuaded to trade his star, which is highly unlikely, he would look for another star in return. Thibs has stated that he has no interest in rebooting that roster and with his former Bulls players coming back, trading Butler would make no sense.

Isn't butler sitting until a deal is made? Bradley can't be dealt until dec.

That was my issue with the deal, Butler won’t play until he is dealt, and the Wolves will not want him on the sidelines until AB can be dealt in December.

Bigger issue is why are you sitting in the first place? I get that you don’t want to be there, but go to work, show you can be a professional, and help the team build even value in you to be able to get a package that will get you out the door. Thibs doesn’t help this one obviously, as he doesn’t want to move you, but Taylor will ultimately pull the trigger.
