Crazy 3 Way

Wolves get: Tyson Chandler, Fultz, Josh Jackson, Saric, and Korkman.

Sixers get: Butler, Daniels, Bridges, and Holmes.

Suns get: Teague, Dieng, Covington, and Patton.

Sixers lineup would easily compete for the East and have more overall depth now despite losing some pieces.

Wolves might be getting too much back in return, but both the other teams come out on top as well, so it would have to come down to whether the Suns are completely sold on Josh Jackson or not, but otherwise they're not giving up anyone valuable other than Bridges, and getting a decent return with Covington's long but money friendly contract for a somewhat coveted player (pun intended).

Simmons/McConnell/Bayless
Redick/Smith/Daniels
Butler/Chandler/Bridges
Muscala/Holmes
Embiid/Amir Johnson/

Phoenix and philly give up too much.

Why would phoenix do this?

It's a steep price for philly to, so i think they turn this down. They get the best player, but he 29 years old and a free agent next year.

There would have to be some sort of wink wink situation on an extension for Philly to want to do this. I think that would give them a great team this season, but would be an overall downgrade if Butler decides to leave. With LeBron out of the East, now is the time for them and the Bucks to strike. Boston isn't going to be going anywhere for quite a while, so they aren't able to play the wait it out game.

I love this for the Wolves too. This puts them right in the thick of things with some real depth. Right now it's Towns, and a questionable Wiggins as the future, but adding Fultz and Jackson (still question marks themselves) along with solid depth players in Korkmaz and Saric and you have the makings of a team who could really compete in the West. If all of them hit to their potential, it's a very scary team. Add in Chandler who can not only be a mentor to Towns, but can also give good minutes at the 5 to slide him over to the 4 for spells.

Phoenix would really have to be over Jackson at this point to do it, but they shed a salary and get two good pieces back in Teague and Covington with some potential in Patton. Dieng makes it tough.

I think the Suns need to get back at least a first rounder for this to make it worthwhile, probably from Minnesota and probably more than just that, but overall, this makes sense for everyone.

Oh it's not that bad donadamsky, certainly not perfect, and I'm one of those who doesn't like to propose 3 team mega deals as they are just not very likely to happen. I agree that Philly or Phoenix would not likely go along with this, but it's not 'too' far off.

I agree with wswswsws and donadamsky.
This trade helps each of the teams, BUT it would be a hard “pill” to swallow. Philly gives up very important pieces to they’re future and Phx has to decide on Jackson or Covington&Teague. (hard choice)
Philly would go “all in” if Butler commits to an extension and you may be right Soxfan, the first round pick would get it done. good trade.
