The trade for the celtics is Rozier. The Jabari bird situation messed that up a lot. I think the celts were hoping to contend and trade Rozier before or near the deadline for a pick or 2. Bird was and is a good player ready to contribute.

This feels like the package that has to happen if Boston wants to convince NO to trade Davis this year. Anything less just won’t do it.

Substitute Brown for Tatum and add another 1st. That's what I would do, but Ainge is the wildcard. There's no telling what he would give to acquire AD. He may just trade Tatum. Who knows, but I'm one that believes in Ainge.

I think Tatum would be the only guy that the Celtics wouldn’t make available. I also don’t see Horford (or Kyrie) being very interesting pieces to the Pelicans. The only way it would make a ton of sense for them to be involved is if there is a third team. I think 3 of Brown, Rozier, Smart and Hayward plus 2 or 3 picks and potentially some filler would be the package as long there isn’t a 3rd team involved.

Not near enough for AD. And i'm curious why so many of you float AD trades but NEVER float Giannis trades. AD is just as untouchable despite the lame rumors you spot on Celtic and Laker fan pages.

Ad has a year less then giannis so giannis rumors will start next year and I think ad bird rights are important so Boston would have to include Tatum and sac pick.

Agreed 100% on why Giannis isn’t as hot a topic as AD. Give it a year to take a shot in a LeBron less East, and then if they don’t look like a real contender, first up the rumour mill.

As usual II, your info is wrong. AD is locked up this year and next year. Player option is not until 2020-2021, at which time Pels can offer Supermax extension.
