You can't have 2 supermax contracts on one team so this would guarantee Davis would have to leave or take a lesser max contract.

I don't know if Davis would rather have Wall than Holiday. This is a pretty solid move as far as the Wizards are concerned, but I don't see it making NO any better at this point.
