Seriously MD, do you follow Basketball? Phil does not want to have to travel with a team, his health isn’t great. The way he handled the Knicks job, and Melo specifically in NY cut deeply into his credibility. James came out and said he was not impressed with how he treated one of his best friends in Melo. I’m sure that LBJ would be thrilled to play for him now!

Phil is washed up, out of touch with the current NBA and uninterested in taking a gig where he needs to travel with the team.

Michael Jordan will still be the better the player regardless of what LBJ does or who coaches him. Everyone who watched Jordan can see how much more intelligent, and fluid with the ball he was compared to LBJ. He did that all without rules to help him not play defense, and open the paint up a mile wide for driving lay-ups. Then, there's defense. Nuff said.

@MD, Phil Jackson doesn't have any. The teams he coached has 11. 6 with the Bulls, and 5 with the Lakers. Out of all those Championships. Jackson earned Coach of the year just once?
