Pistons unload their two year contracts to make Wall with their two bigs Griffin and Drummond their Big 3. Along with SGs Kennard, Thomas, Brown they will have 111,7 million commited salary. Which means they can fill their roster with their full MLE and BAE and min vets.

Washington unload Wall and replace him with servicable Jackson. They commit to Beal, Porter, Oubre, TBJ, work with their picks in 2019 and they will have more than 30 million to spend in 2020 FA.

I'd have to have some sort of confirmation Wall would waive his kicker. I highly doubt he's letting his golden goose go. DET should not do this, Griffin and Wall are not a Big enough 2, and not enough to win the east.

Sometimes you can't compete for championship but can compete for a second round exit other then missing the playoffs. If I was Detroit I do the trade just for the fans.

Yeah, I’m not sure that gift pays off 2 years from now when Wall and Griffin are both hurt and you’re paying 100 million in luxury tax.
