Cavs gets future picks, two expiring contracts and a bad contract in exchange for their best player. More minutes for Nance and Zizic to develop.

Wizards save 4 million this year and reduce their luxury tax bill even more. Love gives them a better shooter at the 4 and Henson play backup 5.

If the Wizards were actually a solid playoff team like they should be, I would say this trade is good.

It works this season, but next season the luxury, coupled with likely repeater tax (unless they shed some salary) makes this trade irresponsible. Grunfeld should be fired anyway but this would be the nail in the coffin. I haven't, but put this in trade machine and check out its projected win increase. Is almost 100 mil in taxes worth it? They are still a barely hanging on east playoff team getting bounced in the 1st round.

Unless the Wizards plan on playing in a hospital, Love and Henson are both hurt, and don't actually know which will be coming back first, Or when! I believe Washington would pass.

It makes sense for half a season until love is 30, and wall is 40, Beal is 30, porter is 30. 4 guys, over the luxury line? 10-12 other roster players each @ $4 per dollar spent? for that group?

Magsnusarn, the Kings laugh at your trade offer. Not saying Skal is all that, but Oubre and Satoransky are exactly a whole lot better. Plus, the Kings would have to waive a player in order to create the roster spot. There just isn't enough juice in this deal to make it worth the King's time. Now, if you want to toss in a protected first rounder, then we would have something to talk about.
