I think Riley woukd be more conservative than this trade exemplifies.

If Washington trades Wall, Beal or Porter, they are going to want cap relief in order to get below the luxury tax level, this trade doesn't do that.

Fredman. Very few teams can offer that to Washington cap relief (well, any teams who would want Wall or Porter) .

Wall is cap relief if he's traded this season. Not sure how much return Wall is fetching at the moment. Do you want Wall over Fox in Sacramento? He's pretty tough to get a lot out of.

Carl006 and Btec. Currently, Sacramento is the only team with cap space to get Washington below the Luxury cap THIS YEAR. And that is one of the reasons I feel that Divac is holding out on trading cap space and expiring deals as part of a package to Washington for Otto Porter Jr to fill the hole this team at SF. It is a perfect trading match. It is just waiting on Washington FO to decide this season is over.

Fredman. They get long term relief by
Getting off of Wall’s super max and they move
Mahimi’s unmovable contract. Plus they get two solid players. What more could you as for.

If washington was concerned about long-term relief, they would have traded Wall instead of signing hom to a super max. I think the FO is tied to Wall and Beal. Not so much to Potter.

Agree the obvious trade is porter to kings, no shot kings are moving fox or takin walls contract.

Porter is awful and way overpaid. I'm sorry but he stinks.
