I was down with this deal with some very minor changes, but then I realized that OKC cannot trade its 2019 1st.

Yes they can because it's in the draft year/ season of the pick. MIL can trade their conditional pick this year too as long as its traded with the conditions attached. Stepien Rule. It mostly is guarding against OKC trading the pick after the '20 pick that they traded away. Or in simple terms consecutive future picks.

Okay, you realize the earliest OKC could convey thus pick would be 2023 (most likely 2024) since they have already traded protected 2020 and 2022 1st rounders. You think the Kings FO is willing to wait 5 years to see the fruits of this deal?

Plus there is the other part of the Kings needing to waive 3 players to add these guys (Mason, Skal and MacLemore) .

Again, the 2021 pick is the one that can't be traded. It can with the conditions of '20 applied to it. They are more than welcome to trade their 2019 because it's 2019 and they own the pick! They can also trade the 2021 in the season of '20-'21. Stepien Rule.

I don't believe you are correct about the 2019. The 2019 draft is still considered a future draft. Think back to last trade deadline. The only reason the Cavs could trade their 1st rounder to the Lakers was because the Cavs also had the Nets 2018 pick. And yes the cavs had already traded their 2019 1st rounder before that trade with the Lakers.

Now of course Milwaukee can trade away the rights to whomever they draft on draft night. But if Milwaukee retains their 2019 1st round pick they must make the pick or use it in a trade that also nets them either a 2019 or 2020 1st rounder in return.

I don't lie and you can look it up. I am wasting my time obviously. I am not a fantasy make believe fan. I actually know what I'm talking about, and try to figure out what I don't know. You deny deny deny when Google is a tab away. Look it up please and stop calling me liar. It takes 15 minutes to sort. Yes the bucks and okc can. You are dead wrong. You are not comprehending something properly or you have never actually read the rule. Do yourself a favor, because you sound like an idiot. screaming your thirsty while holding a glass of water. Any team at anytime can trade a draft lick they are in possession of during the season the pick is for regardless!

The misunderstanding appears to be that you view the 2019 draft as not being a future draft. But it is until draft night.

No from Okc. Why would they give up a 1st for shumpert and Koufos neither on really help the or are even a position of need. Okc needs a Pf.

You are wrong as usual and are refusing to read the actual Stepien Rule and choosing someone's b. s. Narrative alternately. The '19 draft is for the '18-19 season is what you don't get. It is not a future draft. There is nothing for me to get. You need to comprehend where you became confused about:past, present, future definitions regarding that rule. Can't call someone out on a rule that doesn't even exist or make one fit because you have made a fool of yourself already. I want you to figure it out because you are seriously not comprehending the Stepien Rule. Stop posting the links if you can't comprehend them. They prove perfectly what I am saying and are making you look stupid.
