Swap Maclemore for Koufus and add a 2020 1st round draft pick swap. Since Gorgui is still owed over $30 mil.

I think kings try to take on salary and get better that way.

I like Dieng as a back-up for Stein, and insurance policy if Stein gets too big of an offer, and get a pick. If that pick is Lottery 10-14 the 32 mil isn't that bad. Lottery pick - 32mil its pretty close. A pick swap or a 2nd might be too much if it's a lottery.

There will be cheaper backup centers available in the off season once everybody else has spent their cap space on prime FAs. Heck, they could probably resign Koufus for about half of what Deing makes.

R. Lopez will be a coveted back-up for minimal cost, but he won't secure SAC a possible lottery pick. Wiz have no 2nds for 3 years so this was all they could do realistically. Wiz have no flexibility and expiring deals for Porter that can't contribute this season in the easily make-able east playoff hunt doesn't add up after the Ariza deal?

Beal may be better handling the ball but he is not better at running an offense than Middleton. Middleton better than Beal.

Beal ran the offense all last season when Wall was out and he's doing it now again Beal is a 2, Middleton is a 3. Beal is the clear winner for ball handling and a facilitatator over Middleton. Middleton is longer, slightly better defender maybe, and when not in a slump, a better spot up shooter maybe too. Not ball handling and running the point though. Beal being a SG and Middleton being a SF really all by itself is accurate for these 2 and what is different about their games.
