To PHI - Lee

To NYK - Chandler

Knicks get needed expiring contract in Chandler.

Sixers are looking for 3 and D wing, which Lee is the embodiment of. After re-signing Butler this offseason, Sixers won’t have cap space for anyone better than Lee, and as an expiring contract next year, they don’t have long term money on the cap.

Betting money Lee gets waived and stretched when the Knicks can't find someone willing to take Lee with no compensation. Stretch will push Knicks over $35 mil in available cap space next year.

Lee would not be stretched, quality player on expiring deal next year. You stretch guys like Noah, not Lee.

Coming back off an injury, hence the limited minutes. Throw in Fiz’ dumb benching rotation, and Lee is not getting the run he needs to make him look better coming into the deadline. He’ll have trade appeal by February 7th.

Shizeee. Lee would be lucky to get off the bench behind Hield, Bogdan and Shumpert in Sacramento. I would put him above MacLemore. Also, Hield's 3pt shooting % would support an argument that he may be better than any Knicks wing player.

As for trading Lee, the biggest problem the Knicks face is that they want expiring contracts back and, right now, those are being horded by a majority of teams for the upcoming off season. Knicks are going to have to give up something to "get rid" of Lee.

Not in the case of a team needing a 3 and D wing with no cap flexibility next year even after dealing away an expiring contract. Draft considerations added are generally to bad teams willing to take on bad deals. Contenders will be looking at Lee, and he’s quality.

Kings don’t need. 33 year old lee as a long term solution. They want a younger wing, Wiggins, porter etc.
