Not a good trade for the 76ers. Ingram isn't really good, KCP is a FA. 1st rounder will be in the 20-ies. I think if they want to trade him better offers will be available. Personally I would keep Butler.

Ingram is a good replacement for Butler, the kidd still has potential.

Why would Lakers do this right now? Season has proven that they’re not serious contenders this year, they can just sign Butler in the offseason, and will want to hold on to as many assets as possible to make an AD should he become available.

I would trade ball and Ingram for butler. Then wait on ad as a free agent. Trading ball and Ingram for butler gives the lakers future cap for a star to add with James butler hart and kuzma all others can be waived by 2020.

Pls Lakers would have cap space at least 15 to 20 mil to sign a nice player in 2019 to a one year deal or still have other options to get better through trade for expiring contracts.

I understand what you’re saying 9955, but every year you wait to surround James with studs, the older he gets. I know he’s a freak and has defied age already, but there are a lot of miles on him, and he’s missing games this year after not missing any last season. The more years you can give him AD and another star, the better the Lakers chances of winning it all.

In the Lakers Particular situation with having Cap, a Davis trade could derail or slow the Laker rebuild by a season or 2 if not carefully planned. Lose quite a few guys in a trade for AD.
