Who could give the best offer for A Davis, if he let NO know he's not going to sign the extention.

1) LA:Ingram+Kuzma+Caldwell Pope+ 1rnd pick

2) Boston: Hayward+R williams+1 rnd pick Sacramento+ 1rnd pick Memphis

3) NY: Porzingis+ T Hardaway+ 1rnd pick NY 2019 (top 3 protected)

4) Chi: Markannen+W Carter Jr+ Jabari Parker+ 2rnd pick Memphis 2019 and 2020

Some other team

If the Pelicans decide they HAVE to trade Davis, they then have to decide whether or not they want a complete teardown or if they want to stay somewhat competitive.

If they want to start over, a trade heavy in draft picks.
If they want to stay competitive, three or four players.

Maybe they want to play it down the middle, in which case Davis's value (right now; it will change later on) would be:
1. A solid starter
2. Another rotation player
3. Lottery No. 1
4. Non-lottery No. 1.

The NY offer is a joke, the Chicago offer also sucks. The Boston offer would have chance dropping Hayward and his contract (he is damaged goods) and adding Tatum. The LA offer with more added is best of 4 you posted.

NY and Chicago are going to stay away from their "best" offer out of fear of Anthony Davis opting out and leaving them with nothing. Boston and LA have a better chance of resigning him because of the opportunity to win games is greater there.

LA diesnt have young stars. Kuz is peaked. Ingram looks worse daily. Nobody wants ball. Celts offer tstum brown and w firsts or kyrie and 3 firsts.

I think you'd need a third team w the Boston offer Tatum, Brown and a Center from a third team and a 1st and a 2nd or 2 ists depending on what Center they pull in.

Kuz is far from his peak he getting better and better. He actually playing better then most rookie contract players about equal with fox tatum and Mitchell slightly better then simmons. but Doncic Is playing the best in my opinion.

I think Horford is the perfect salary filler. I was think something like Horford, Brown, Rozier and 3 best first rounders.

None these trades will keep NOLA on the phone long. If one were to it would be the first trade, but more #1 picks would have to be included.

1) KCP is a FA after the season and NO won't trade AD earlier. Also Ingram and the pick have low value.
2) Hayward doesn't live up to his contract after the injury and without AD I don't know why NO would want him. So 0, or negative value bc of the contract. Picks seem to be around 10, so value is okay. But overall 2 midround picks won't get you AD.
3) KP is RFA and didn't play this year --> Very risky.

4) By far the best offer and AD in his hometown would be a great story.

5) Maybe the 76ers if they include Ben Simmons what I highly doubt. But a front court of Embiid and AD would be great.

6) What about the Clippers?

I think that you are off the mark in Boston's offer in your post Gasupo. That offer doesn't even excite me. Ainge has coveted AD for quite a while, as I'm sure many others has as well. Ainge is smart enough to put a much more competitive offer. He also has the goods to overpay. He won't lose out on AD because he is 7n willing to add something he doesn't want to. That is not Ainges style. He doesn't care what anyone else thinks.

Sixers don't need AD. They have Embid. Those two could NOT play together. They both need to have the ball. Plus, NOP would want Embid in a deal, which knocks Philly out of the conversation. Imo.

I don't see any Boston deal that doesn't involve Brown or Tatum (almost guaranteed to be Tatum).

Hayward or Horford (assuming he opts into his player option), Tatum, and the two best firsts they own seems like the most likely AD trade league wide right now.

The Irving Trade + a 1st is about what I figured will be the ultimate sacrifice for the future employers of AD.

If it happens before the dealine, yeah, Irving+Brown+picks could work. I just don't see NO trading him before the summer. They want to offer the supermax. Who knows, maybe he decides that kind of guaranteed money a year earlier is worth it. He said he doesn't care about the money, but saying that and actually declining a quarter of a billion dollars isn't the same thing.

Pels weakness, even before any AD trade is SF. Tatum is where the deal starts, not Hayward.

I don't think pelicans take horford or Heyward. Horford could be a filler if pelicans are trading more then just ad. Horford contract bigger then A.D. pelicans see there not good even with ad. They should go full rebuild and so far there getting good pick with A. D. there at a top 6 or 7 pick so trading him now or next month would help that get better and get more value out him.

Irving's trade from CLE!
