DSJ and Matthews for Ball, KCP and Wagner.

Ball, Rondo, and James are too similar to make a successful playoff push. Substitute DSJ and Matthews with Ball and KCP, you have a young, athletic less passive scorer and a knock down shooter that comes off the books in the summer and may come back cheaper. Not to mention, Luka and Ball would be a better fit

NOW suppose every Laker comes back, you look like

Ingram/Rondo
DSJ/Hart/Matthews
James/Stevenson
Kuzma/Beasley
Chandler/McGee/Zubac
And salary cap!

Hate to say but this shows Lakers have to unload 2 or 3 of the young guys for an above average, 30 or younger player(s)

Dame for Kuzma, Ingram, Stevenson picks and whatever it takes to get it done. Rewrite the roster

Lillard/Rondo
DSJ/Hart
Beasley/Matthews
James
Chandler/McGee/Zubac
And CAP SPACE

Durant or Kawhi takes the keys of the franchise from day one with a side kick in Lillard. Unlimited options. No pressure on DSJ....could very well be the hidden gem in this lineup.

Even more now, I don't see Portland letting Lillard go any time soon, due to ownership uncertainty. Especially not to the Lakers.

All I can say (sarcastically) is wow. First you say this, "Not to mention, Luka and Ball would be a better fit. " Better fit doesn't mean a good fit. Doncic needs a Klay Thompson type next to him in the back court. I don't see either trade happening because I don't see rival GMs wanting to "help" Lebron via trades. Just don't see it.
