There is nobody on the suns or magic roster that they could offer that have ability to defend a pg better than 20 yr old Frank Ntilikina. He lacks exp and confidence offensively under fizdale. He is not a run and gun pg that is required in fizdale offense. He is ideal pg who is needed who plays as the off guard while defending the pg. With consistent minutes he will lead the league in steal with his 7' wingspan
Doncic is like magic Johnson offensively with a 3 point shot. Defensively he can only keep up with SF. He needs a pg like Frank and anchor like Jordan to protect his poor athletism.
Mudiay 24 is just good as DSJ great offensive scorers, avg defensively neither are making a lot assist or are playmakers. If the knicks trade for DSJ it only bc they don't want to extend Mudiay 8 figure contract who might not accept next yr's qualifier. Which is perfect for Mavs bc frank will be exceed dsj value for Dallas bc of Doncic is their playmaker and Frank shot will come around with time. In 2 yrs Frank defensive will be equal to Gary Payton type of player. Hopefully he offense will develop with little more consistency. DSJ and Mudiay won't get better than what they are now. Frank will get better.
Hardaway is better Mathews long term. I doubt mavs want him included. Adding them is mavs opt.

Ntilikina is everyone’s favorite player rn for the defense but there’s a reason he’s not playing for the Knicks. It’s because his offense is simply so bad that he can’t be trusted on the court, I heard his offense described today as “Fultz but w/ o the mystery. â€
An expiring is worth more than Hardaway and DSJ is worth way more than Frank, IMO Mavs should say no.
