Pistons get Dennis Smith Jr and Wesley Matthews

Mavericks get Reggie Jackson, Luke Kennard, and a top 10 protected 2019 first round pick

Pistons get their man at point guard and a sharpshooting vet to help out their weak wing. Mavericks get a PG that is more compatible with Luka in Reggie and a rising shooter in Kennard. The first rounder is also a nice asset for the rebuilding Mavs.

I like this trade, thought about it myself but was only hesitent because i believe that the Pistons would want to try and do the trade without giving up Kennard who is arguably the most reliable 3 point shooter (HUGE area that the pistons lack) . Might just be worth it for DSJ though.
