Lakers get Anthony Davis

Pelicans get Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Lance Stephenson, Kyle Kuzma, Ivica Zubac, and 2 unprotected first round picks

This is the reported offer that the Lakers will make for AD. This deal allows the Lakers to hold on to their cap space this summer and sign either Kyrie, Kemba, Klay, Kawhi, or KD. According to recent rumors, Kyrie is seriously considering re-joining LeBron. Kyrie/Hart/LBJ/AD/JaVale would be a legit threat to GSW.

The Pelicans start their rebuild and will be loaded with young players. If AD announces that he will only re-sign with the Lakers (as he is expected to do) then this will be by far the best offer available. The Pelicans can throw away the rest of this season and hopefully get another elite talent in the draft.

But if AD comes out and say he’s only resigning with LAL, the price goes down. Strong possibility they can keep Kuzma. Okafor would be an excellent steal if we can somehow squeeze him in the deal.
